Putting up a fight against the Forces of Ungodliness

One of the greatest mysteries of the kingdom is the mystery of Godliness. Godliness is being like God (1 Peter 1:15-16). Godliness is pleasing God as a lifestyle. (Deuteronomy 5:32-33). Pleasing God will always bring about a profitable life (1 Timothy 6:11-12). Godliness is a spiritual treasure that creates a great future. Godliness allows us to live in heaven on earth. But you need to first put up a fight against ungodliness. We must rise up to take responsibility against every act of ungodliness.

How to take responsibility against the forces of ungodliness

• Make no provision for the flesh (Romans 13:14): We must not make provision for the flesh. Every evil thought begins from the heart and you must kill it at the thought level.
• Flee or escape every trap of Ungodliness (1 Corinthians 6:18, 10:14, 1 Timothy 6:11, 2 Timothy 2:22, 2 Thessalonians 5:22)
• Mortify the deeds of the flesh by the spirit (Colossians 3:5 Romans 8:13): You can’t mortify the deeds of the flesh with the energy of the flesh. You need the spirit of God (Zechariah 4:6)
• Put off every form of ungodly garment (Colossians 3:9-10, Ephesians 4:22-24)
