COVENANT UNIVERSITY STUDENT COUNCIL’S CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
One of the student council’s duties is to solve problems that may arise among the well-being of students. The corporate social responsibility of the student council has involved practices that have set a positive influence among students.
The Covenant University Student Council’s Corporate Social Responsibility( CUSC CSR) includes I respond, feeding scheme and academic integrity.
I-RESPOND AND FEEDING SCHEME:
The I-respond is an initiative for aiding students in need in completing their school fees. The student council engages in different means to gain money to raise funds for the I respond scheme. This session, the student council was able to aid eleven students in completing their school fees, where a total of ₦915,750 was spent.

The feeding scheme initiative aims to aid the student in need of money to get food. A total of ₦ 10,000 was spent on the feeding scheme.
ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:
The Academic Integrity Campaign is run to encourage students and help them prepare for their examinations and to imbibe examination best practices. Newsletters including study tips were sent to students. This session,The Academic Integrity campaign, was themed ‘Ask Now not in Exam Hall.’ one of the aims of the initiative was to discourage examination malpractice among students. Also as part of the initiative, stationaries such as calculators, highlighters, biros, pencils, sticky notes, erasers, and sharpeners were distributed. A total of ₦ 95000 was spent in Alpha Semester, and ₦ 92000 was spent in Omega semester.
